Sikkim Government College, Rhenock is one of the major institutes of learning and education in the eastern hills of Sikkim, India. It was established in the year 2005. Ever since, the College has stood out and tall against every challenges to provide quality education and promote learning in the hills. Being the first institution for higher education in Rhenock it aims at the all-round development of every individual student. It has been more than a decade that the institution has been quenching the intellectual thirst and providing quality education to hundreds of students belonging to a diverse background. Students’ performance every year reflects the quality of education being imparted in the institution, which strives to fulfill the demands of modern times, specific needs of the society and nation at large. Since its inception, Sikkim Government College, Rhenock is committed to the task of encouraging students to think independently, to help them understand the complexities, challenges of today’s life and to prepare them to become dynamic leaders of tomorrow’s society and nation. The institution gives equal emphasis to curricular and co-curricular activities, with the aim to develop physically, rationally, spiritually and emotionally sound personalities through teaching, sports, NSS, NCC along with cultural and academic activities.
